Dual D / A Local / Remote Electric Start Controller

Similar to the model MES 170 and incorporates all the features of that controller but includes extra facilities to allow two sets to be monitored and protected. The application of this controller is where a property generates its own power and has two sets, only one of which is required to run at any one time.

This allows:

  • A set to be taken off line and serviced.
  • A set to be held as a manual standby set.
  • A smaller set to run during light load periods.

Offered for 3Ø machines up to 22kW or 1Ø machines to 12kW in both 12 and 24Vdc versions. Larger machines can be accommodated through the use of a separate load switching cubicle.

Local / Remote Electric Start D / A Controller

Designed to control and protect a D/A set and includes local manual pushbutton start as well as remote switch start facilities. Alternator output AC metering is provided together with an engine service hours counter. This model controller is offered in both a 3Ø and 1Ø version as well as 12 or 24 volt DC control.

Automatic Standby D/A Set Controller

This control systems application is the same as the model MSC171 but is a more basic or economical version. The major controlling component is the Genaust timing and sensing module TSU 389 which combines the supply sensing. D/A set start and stop controls as well as the transfer switch control functions. Comes in both 12 and 24 Vdc control as well as 3Ø or 1Ø versions.

Automatic Standby D/A Set Controller

A control system designed to continuously monitor the normal mains supply which calls up and controls the standby power source as well as issue control signals to the load transfer switchgear depending on the normal mains condition. The major controlling component is a programmable logic controller (PLC) which is pre programmed to an industry standard but can be re programmed to the clients specified requirements.
